How to create or modify a text?

Creation of a text:

  1. Select the "Text" tool in the list of annotations and ROIs. (See "How to create 2D annotations")


  2. Bring your mouse above one image in a display area and press the left button.
  3. While holding the left button, drag your mouse to create a rectangular text area.
  4. Release the left mouse button.
  5. Bring your mouse inside the text area and double click the left button to edit the text.
  6. Write down the text that you want to display in the edit box.
  7. Hit the 'Escape' key to close the edition.

 

 




Modify the text area position:

  1. Select the text object by clicking on it with the left mouse button. When a text object is selected, you can see a frame around it. The 4 green circles represent the corners of the frame. The frame represents the area in which your text is displayed.
  2. Keep your mouse inside the frame, press the left mouse button and hold it.
  3. While holding the left mouse button, drag your mouse to move the location of the text.
  4. elease the left mouse button.




Modify the text area size:

  1. Select the text object by clicking on it with the left mouse button. When a text object is selected, you can see a frame around it. The 4 green circles represent the corners of the frame. The frame represents the area in which your text is displayed.
  2. Keep your mouse above one of the 4 corners of the frame, press the left mouse button and hold it.
  3. While holding the left mouse button, drag your mouse to move the area size of the text.
  4. Release the left button of the mouse.




Modify the text:

  1. Double click on the text object that you want to modify. An editable window will appear.
  2. Write down the new text.
  3. Hit the "escape" key to close the edition.




Modify the properties of the text:

  1. Select the text object by clicking on it with the left mouse button. When a text object is selected, you can see a frame around it. The 4 green circles represent the corners of the frame. The frame represents the area in which your text is displayed.
  2. In the properties window of annotations and ROIs, modify the text color or font size of the selected text.
